Last outfit from Tokyo....I bought this skirt on ebay for about $12 shipped.  Couldn't resist the perfect PJ plaid and button front.

Irresponsibility got the best of me and I booked a last minute trip to PARIS with Eric and my 2 best friends! We leave tomorrow!!! I figured at 26 years old, it's about GD time I go to Paris....no??
Soo...if any of you lovely readers have any tips on the city of love please do tell...and in exchange I present you with this:

Eric's sick sick sick jacket he picked up in Tokyo at Ships Jet Blue...the body is made of strips of different vintage army fabrics in different shades...sewn together to make one fabric. SO amazing.

loooooovvvveeee these Docs! They're raw-edged muslin with a double strap...my favorite vintage find from the trip.  Found these in the Koenji area...by far the best vintage shopping in Tokyo in my opinion!

fringe sherpa bag-handmade vintage (fairfax flea market)
shorts-vintage levis
thermal ribbed shirt-thrift store
leopard boots-vintage
scarf-vintage

just arrived in Tokyo....thank god! China was a bit brutal..especially alone with no proper internet!  I  can finally update with these old pics though I did try to update there (blogger is banned in China) with no success...I guess I'm just not hacker material

how lovely is this bag?  The sherpa part is so soft and buttery! I got it from the crazy looking Russian guy who re-works vintage leathers/furs...if you frequent the fairfax flea market enough, you know who I'm talking about!!
Love this vintage 70's thermal too and am especially obsessed with the ribbing on the cuffs and neck.  I originally found it for Eric but it's just too good...

China was crrrraaazzyy....I have to admit, it was VERY lonely to be there by myself.  I didn't think it would be that bad, considering I got to eat a lavish breakfast buffet everyday (hmmm love buffets...)  BUT after 14 days, french toast and made-to-order omelets just didn't do anything for me anymore! I needed someone to talk to! wah wah wah....
There was a typhoon for the first couple of days, and walking through high speed wind/rain with a million samples plus not being able to get a taxi was NOT FUN!!
but
THANK GOD for gypsy rickshaws that beat traffic!

a little vid of my rickshaw ride

yayyyy for tokyoooo!!! then I get to come home!!!
